She has taught online as an adjunct college professor teaching writing composition, counseling/psychology, and interpersonal communication. She also does chaplaincy work as a spirituality counselor at a psychiatric hospital in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She has also edited several books, dissertations, theses, and published articles. She previously worked as an editor of a national newspaper and an account manager for an information arm of the government.

 

Dr. Dahlia serves as Executive Director at Global Outreach Church (GO Church) where she offers marital counseling. She is very passionate about seeing marriages healed but her real passion is premarital counseling. Her simple philosophy is, start your marriage right and it will have a greater chance of ending up right. Of course, life sometimes throws us a curve-ball, and that is where professional counseling comes in.
