Dr. Christopher Cunningham is an unusually versatile media practitioner, having worked in almost every aspect of the media for some 32 years. He earned a Ph.D. in Communication from Regent University. He also has a Masters of Arts in Cinema-Television (Producing and also Directing - two majors), and a Bachelor's Degree from Trinity International University in Biblical Studies (summa cum laude).
He is Founder and Senior Pastor of Global Outreach Church in Virginia Beach, a multi-ethnic, multi-generational church. Dr. Chris is also the author of two books - Worship 101: Discovering the God We Worship in 101 Ways (English and Mandarin Chinese) and The Enoch Treasure: When God Walks with a Friend.
In 2006 he founded the Redemptive Film Festival, the world's leading festival for films in the redemptive genre. The festival received thousands of entries from from 44 countries. Lifetime achievement award winners include World Wide Pictures, Dr. Linda Seger (The Script Doctor), the Late Dr. Paul Crouch (TBN), The Jesus Film Project, Ken Wales (Producer, Filmmaker) and Andrew Quicke (Writer, director, Producer).
Dr. Chris is an award winning writer and producer with years of experience as a team builder and teacher/trainer. His versatile gift mix gives him the ability to seamlessly transition between writing proposals, conducting training seminars, directing a complete video, audio, photography or web-based projects, editing complex documents and trouble-shooting technical problems.
This makes him an innovative problem solver and critical thinker with a demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, while producing exceptional results under tight deadlines. He is therefore able to consult with churches and organizations on many levels for the purpose of community transformation.
